Monica is a graduate of the University of Baltimore, where she received her bachelor of administration degree in accounting in 2015 and in 2018, she obtained her Enrolled Agent (EA) license. Monica joined the YHB in 2022 from the Glass Jacobson team, where she worked for four years.
With a focus on tax and financial accounting, Monica has honed her skills while working with individuals and corporations. Her specialization lies in navigating the intricacies of passthrough entity, gift, fiduciary, estates, and trust tax returns. Monica’s in-depth knowledge and attention to detail enable her to effectively handle complex tax matters.
Moreover, Monica thrives in managing individual tax situations on a multi-state and international level. She has developed a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements involved in these contexts, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial outcomes for her clients.
In the past, she has written articles for the Glass Jacobson blog regarding tax issues, as well as speaking in webinars during COVID on the CARES Act and its implications.
Monica values communication with clients, while being responsive to specific needs. She communicates in a manner that is best tailored to individuals’ needs.
Monica is a member of MACPA.
In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, whether that is camping or hiking. She is an avid runner, having done a few half marathons. In 2017, she went skydiving over Delaware and absolutely loved it!
