Will Murphy is the Chief Operating Officers for YHB. His focus is in the Organizational Development of YHB where he develops strategic solutions that result in positive business results. Primary skills include talent development, including recruiting initiatives, leadership development programs, performance management, and working with subject-matter experts (SMEs) on instructional design and training delivery. He also has many years of experience consulting with key stakeholders in reviewing and updating processes, data analysis, cultivating a team environment, and facilitating change management initiatives for continued performance improvement throughout the organization.
Will’s professional career in Organizational Development has given him experience in many industries, including professional services, healthcare, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing, and the federal government.
Will holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University and an MBA from Shenandoah University. He also holds three certifications, which include a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). He has served as President of the Winchester Area Chapter of SHRM and continues as an active member. He is also an active member of the Winchester Chapter of Kiwanis and is the James Wood High School Kiwanis Key Club Advisor.
Will lives in Winchester, Virginia with his wife Sarah and three daughters – Madison, Allie, and Emma.
Lee Mariano is the Chief People Officer at YHB, one of the largest regional public accounting firms.
Lee is a seasoned Executive HR leader with over 24 years of experience in the field. With a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Lee has honed her expertise in all core functions of HR, including strategic planning, compensation, total rewards management, employee relations, and performance management.
Throughout her career, Lee has successfully designed and implemented comprehensive compensation programs that align with business objectives. Her strategic planning acumen has allowed her to develop and execute HR initiatives that drive organizational growth and enhance employee engagement.
Lee’s exceptional skills in employee relations have fostered a positive work culture and facilitated effective conflict resolution, resulting in high employee satisfaction and retention. Furthermore, her proficiency in performance management has led to the creation of robust systems for goal-setting, feedback, and development, contributing to increased individual and team performance.
As a trusted HR advisor, Lee has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and the ability to build and motivate high-performing HR teams. With her deep knowledge and comprehensive experience, she continues to drive organizational success by effectively aligning human resources with business strategies.
