Winchester, VA (June 5, 2018) — The shareholders of Yount, Hyde and Barbour, P.C. (YHB) have voted to admit Bryan Newlin as principal into the Firm effective June 1, 2018.

As cybersecurity threats become an increasing reality, his practice will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy.”
Bryan is a 2005 Shepherd University graduate and lifelong resident of the Shenandoah Valley. Since joining the Firm, he has been a key leader in YHB’s Risk Advisory Services practice. In his previous role as IT Audit Manager, Bryan was responsible for IT audit program design, engagement quality, IT audit staff training and development, and the firm’s Vulnerability and Penetration testing practice.
He has authored numerous articles and is a regular speaker in the community banking industry. Bryan became a Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Public Accountant in 2008, and Certified Information Technology Professional in 2011.

Bryan will remain in YHB’s Winchester office while he serves clients throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. The firm has a total of 26 principals throughout 6 locations.
