Winchester, Virginia (October 16, 2017) — Yount, Hyde and Barbour (YHB) is proud to announce the selection of Manager Ben Vaughan for the 2017 VSCPA Leadership Academy.
YHB Manager Ben Vaughan has been selected to attend the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA) 2017 Leadership Academy. This exclusive and highly selective learning opportunity is reserved for a limited number of qualified CPAs a year.
Vaughan is part of the Firm’s Community Bank Team and based in the Richmond office. “I am eager for the opportunity to connect with peers across the state and hone my craft. Ultimately, the goal is to better serve clients and be able to mentor younger staff. The Leadership Academy will help equip me to do that.”
The VSCPA Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for CPAs 35 and under to expand their leadership competencies, develop strengths and forge professional relationships. To be eligible applicants must have a valid CPA license, be a current VSCPA member and a minimum of three years of experience within the CPA profession.
The three-day in person program will take place in Richmond, Virginia November 2017. Additional training and learning opportunities will continue for the next six months.
