Jennifer Schwinger

Jennifer is an Assurance Manager based in YHB’s Leesburg office. She brings a diverse background in public accounting, having worked with Big Four, national, and regional firms throughout her career. Jenny earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2013 and her Master of Accounting in 2014 from Auburn University. She became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2015. 

Jenny began her career at a Big Four firm in Atlanta before transitioning to a large regional firm. She later returned to the DMV area, where she continued her career with a national firm focused on middle-market clients. Across these roles, she gained experience serving a wide range of industries and clients. 

Her background across firms of varying sizes has shaped her perspective and approach, ultimately leading her to find the best fit within a regional firm environment where she can deliver more personalized service. 

Jenny has a strong focus on the construction industry and is passionate about continuing to grow her expertise in this space. She brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to her work, prioritizing meaningful connections with clients beyond the traditional audit process. 

By building strong relationships and maintaining consistent communication throughout the year, Jenny helps clients feel supported and informed, making engagements more efficient and collaborative. Her goal is to serve as a trusted advisor who adds value beyond compliance. 

Jenny is involved in her community through her HOA’s budget and finance committee and is working toward becoming its treasurer. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing Pilates and hopes to pursue her teaching certification in the future. She also spends time with her rescue dog and enjoys watching college football on fall Saturdays.
