Timothy Solomon joined YHB in August 2022 as a Senior Manager on the Tax Team in our Rockville office. Timothy brings over 25 years of experience in the public and private accounting field. Most recently, Timothy established his own CPA and consulting practice providing financial statement audits, EBP audits, financial statement reviews and other consulting services.
Timothy earned his BS in Accounting from Hampton University and Masters of Financial Management from University of Maryland, University College. He became a licensed CPA in 2003.
Timothy is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside of work, Timothy enjoys spending time outside, specifically gardening and light-construction home improvement projects of a do-it-yourself variety. He is also an avid sports fan.
Timothy promotes and enjoys interactive communications with clients to first understand their needs and desires. Listening and placing himself in his client’s thoughts allows Timothy a better understanding of their thoughts, which allows him to better understand and provide better service.
