Derek began his career in accounting with YHB in 2011 after a graduating with a B.S. in accounting from Shepherd University. Derek became a licensed CPA in 2013. As a member of the firm’s Family Legacy Services team, Derek has developed an in-depth understanding of individual, trust, estate and business taxation.
Ben graduated from West Virginia University in May 2011, with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Accounting. Ben started at YHB August of 2011, and became a CPA in January of 2014. Ben specializes in tax and consulting services in conjunction with the Family Wealth Services Team, including income tax planning and compliance for individuals and small businesses; agriculture business taxation and consulting; and estate administration.
Megan started her career with YHB in 2019 after graduating from Texas Tech with a BBA in Accounting and receiving her MSA in Taxation from Liberty University. In the past two years, she has become an expert with our Employee Retention Credit tax team. She focuses her work with small businesses and the healthcare industry.
Nick joined YHB in 2020 with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Nick is a graduate of Carthage College with a BS in Accounting and Business, the University of Connecticut with an MA in Accounting, Case Western Reserve University with a JD, and Georgetown University with an LLM in taxation. Nick has also worked with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent and an Attorney with the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility.
Randy Beeman has more than 15 years of experience managing financial assets for individuals, retirement plans and businesses. Randy joined YHB | Wealth Advisors in January of 2018 and serves as the Director of Wealth Management.
Prior to entering the professional wealth management field, he enjoyed building entrepreneurial business ventures from start-up to eventual sale and providing accounting services for public and private firms. Randy received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA in finance from Shenandoah University.
